I started exploring Arduinos last year and I'm hooked.  I think it has tremendous potential for anyone with the motivation to make their ideas into a reality.  The industrial age decimated the livelihood of artisans and craftsmen/women--they couldn't compete with the factories.  I think we're on the brink of another revolution, this time it's favoring artisans and makers.  Makers will be on top again.  They will take manufacturing back into the community and develop tailored products that meet your needs.  Maui attracts some of the most creative people on the planet, let's lead the revolution.
