Maui Makers has an open, public meeting every Thursday evening from 6-9pm at our space in Pu’unene. We are informal and these meeting nights tend to be a lot more talk story than building events. Please feel free to stop in and talk. Occasionally, there may be conflicts with other Maui events so check for updates on our Google Group
Our space is the former cafeteria building and a 40′ container back behind the sugar mill with Community Work Day (CWD), Maui Friends of Library and Pu’unene School. (Lat/Lon: 20.862902, -156.448027 E Camp 5 Rd, Pu’unene Maui, HI.) The map below shows basic location. Its a google map link so you can zoom out and get directions from wherever you may be.

Maui Makers Container and Building in Pu'unene. Main meeting space in building on right. Container will probably also be open. Be sure to check maps - the Pu'unene School area can be hard to find.
The good folk at Maui Jungalow blog posted directions with pictures to our neighbors Community Work Day. These will get you to us as well.

Hi. I live on Kauai, would you happen to know ANYTHING out here related to infosec, or even technology. Meetups, spaces, groups .. anything? I can’t find anything going on at all
Message was reposted on our google group (and on Hi Capacities) for wider visibility
Additional directions and helpful photos along the route to the Maui Makers meetings (also to free paint at Community Work Day and to the Maui Friends of the Library 10 cent bookstore) can be found at http://www.mauijungalow.com/2011/11/where-to-get-free-paint-and-where-to.html
This message is for Jerry. I found you on Hike the Geek. I’m looking for people that are like minded. We should put together some kind of hike.
Aloha Kevin – you found me. I’ll respond in more detail in email. Hiking is definitely a good thing! I need to find more trails here.
